What I’m Seeing Behind the Chair
If your hair feels thinner lately… you’re not imagining it.
More women than ever are sitting in my chair saying: “My ponytail is smaller.”
“My part looks wider.”“My hair just isn’t the same.”
And the truth is—hair loss is more common right now than ever before.
What’s Causing It?
The biggest thing I’m seeing behind the chair is:
👉 Internal stress on the body
Not just emotional stress—but physical stress your body is trying to recover from.
The most common triggers I see are:
Rapid weight loss (especially with medications like Ozempic)
Hormonal changes (perimenopause, thyroid, PCOS)
Nutritional deficiencies (iron, vitamin D, B12, zinc)
High stress or major life changes
This often leads to Telogen Effluvium—a temporary shedding phase where hair falls out more than usual.
And here’s the important part:There’s usually a 2–3 month delay from the trigger to when you notice it.
What Should You Do First?
My first suggestion is to contact your primary care provider and get blood work done (CBC, Ferritin, Iron, Vitamin D, B12, Thyroid) assess any changes in the last 3–6 months. Pay attention to stress + nutrition
This helps us understand the why before choosing a solution.
There Are Solutions
You don’t have to just “deal with it.” Depending on your hair, I offer:
Custom crown toppers
Mesh & meshless integration systems
Invisible Bead Extensions® for fine hair
K-tip extensions for natural movement
Everything is customized to your density, lifestyle, and goals.
You’re Not Alone
Hair loss can feel overwhelming—but it’s something I see (and help with) every single day.
