Daily Workflow:

Currently, I'm rolling solo without an assistant/co-stylist, but I have worked with them in the past and I'm currently hiring for a new co-stylist. I'm a chair rental salon owner, and I work three-four days a week, from 10 until 4-5 pm. I'm an IBE and color-exclusive stylist that takes 2-3 clients a day. (when I have an assistant  I take 4-5 clients a day) Most of my day-to-day appointments are color and re-installs. The majority of my clientele has two or more rows.

I enjoy all aspects of the IBE method, but Technique is my first true love. Scalp health, weft placement, wear comfort, flexibility, and customizing every IBE experience. The average time in my chair for a color/highlight and two-row are-install is about 3.5 hours. On average, I can take out and put in a row in just under an hour. I specialize in lived-in timeless colors, but blonde and bronde are what I mostly do behind the chair. I can color on and off the head, but I prefer to color off the head, reducing the overall time a guest is in my chair. I believe in working smarter, not harder. If a client needs weft refreshing, I do that while their color is processing. My focus is on the health + integrity of the guests' scalp and natural hair. The beautiful hair at the end of every service is the cherry on top. You can be confident in knowing you are receiving the most fantastic experience from start to finish.

I'm not new to extensions, as I have been an extension artist for 20+ years. Prior to my IBE certification, I specialized in keratin tip extensions, full/ partial protective styles, and other hand-tied weft methods, colors, and men's and women's hair cutting. After I discovered invisible Bead Extensions,  it was game over. I found my passion again. I can tell you it was the best decision I have made in my career. It changed me as a stylist for the better. Now my primary focus behind the chair is specializing in luxury extensions and lived-in-color experiences, bringing all the information I've collected and the advanced education I have acquired to create a magical experience for every guest. I love every little detail that goes into every look completed, but nothing beats the newfound confidence and happiness I can give every guest when we are finished.

When I’m not behind the chair, you can find me hanging out with my husband. We are empty nesters as our son is now in college. We enjoy traveling to our sons' football games in the fall, and in the summer, you will find us at the lake relaxing or out and about exploring small towns on the side by side with our friends and family.

I’ll bring you along at least 3 rows of my own work, show you how to take Instagram worthy photos and videos in the salon as well as answer any questions you may have along the way! This is your opportunity to give me the low down I really want to know what are you struggling within your business? Do we need to focus extra time on Technique? Do you have systems in place to streamline you business? Are you transitioning into extensions only stylist?

 

We’ll break for lunch and spend time refining your work on a mannequin for 90min I will have all tools and supplies for you. Your shadow day is about how you want to make the most of it! This is also your opportunity to ask all the questions!

 As we move through the day, we can work through your struggles and fine tune all the details. I’ll teach you my tips and tricks to streamline your installs, your business, and get you back behind the chair more confident than EVER!
